WGP Season 1 – Cardfight!! Vanguard Standard Format

Event Information

Time	8:00AM – 9:30AM Player’s Arrival 10:00AM Tournament start

Rounds	Maximum 9 Swiss rounds, cut to top 8 playoffs. Rounds are 25 minutes and best-of-one.
Entry Fee	Free
Eligibility	Only players with Malaysia citizenship/permanent resident visa, or long-term student/working visa may participate in the regional qualifier. (ID check might be requested) There will be a region lock on the eligibility of receiving invites to the World Finals.
Legality	Only Cardfight!! Vanguard Japanese D-format cards and distributed before the tournament date can be used. (Cards with the logo ‘D’ printed at the bottom left corner.)

Sleeves policy

Only mini size official Bushiroad sleeves and opaque sleeves which don’t reveal the back of the card can be used.
Please ensure that the sleeves are of the correct size.
Please ensure that the ride deck is sleeved differently from the main deck.
Oversleeves without patterns may be used.
A maximum of 2 layers of sleeves (oversleeve, mini size sleeves) may be used.

End of round policy

Until Top 8/16: time-up is counted as a loss for both parties. The judge can decide to give extra time in case of lost time during a round.
For top 8/16→Top 4: Extra turn according to the following rules:

1. Players must stop playing when time is up (even in the middle of their turn) and call the judge.

2. After the Judge’s approval, players resume their play (only one turn each).

3. In case a winner cannot be designated after the above “2.”, the fighter with the most damage will lose the game.

If the damage is still the same, repeat the Extra turn 3 times until the winner is decided.

If there is a “simultaneous loss” during the extra turn, the Player waiting for his turn will win.

There is no time limit for the Top 4.

Deck registration

Players have to register their deck in [Decklog (https://decklog.bushiroad.com/create?c=1)] and submit the Decklog code when registering for the tournament through CL2U. You may edit the Decklog code any time before the registration closed.
